What if I need wheelchair access?
Castle Minibuses specialises in supplying Schools, Colleges and Universities with wheelchair access vehicles for disabled passengers. We can recommend a range of wheelchair accessible vehicles from the major manufacturers and all of them come with a number of features as standard, including a wheelchair restrain system, a ramp to assist with raising and lowering wheelchairs plus much more.

What if I want to take the Minibus abroad?
A letter of authorisation and VE103 are required for travel to the Republic of Ireland or Europe.
Our Customer Services team will handle the arrangements for you.
Your Organisation or driver must ensure that the vehicle is covered by suitable insurance and rescue assistance which we can help with as well.

A vehicle needs a new tax disc.
We supply tax discs, officially called road fund licences, for the duration of the contract. We send them out automatically in the month before the renewal date. There is no extra charge for this service, but any government tax increases will be invoiced to your account, and any government tax decreases will be credited to your account.

A vehicle needs new tyres, battery or exhaust.
We will pay if they need replacing because of fair wear and tear or faulty manufacture on a maintenance contract.
If you have a full maintenance contract, we will pay for tyres to be replaced by ATS Euromaster when they reach 2mm tread depth (the UK minimum is 1.6mm).
If you have a puncture and it can be legally and safely repaired, this will be charged at cost. If the tyre cannot be safely repaired then you will be charged for the difference between the current tread depth on the tyre and the legal tread depth.

My vehicle breaks down.
Full breakdown and rescue support is available free with one of our standard contract packages, and can be added at a competitive rate in most others. If you have breakdown cover included, call 0870 600 4499 24hours a day, 365 days a year.
